Porch Renovations
With the hot Charleston summers that can wane well into the fall, having a porch where you can "chill out" with cold glass of iced tea or cheer your team to victory is a must! We've helped several customers make their porch dreams a reality to create a true sanctuary and extension of their living space. See the photos at left for some before and after transformations.

Wadmalaw Deck Remodel
We rebuilt a deck for a friend on Wadmalaw. The previous deck was much smaller, was sagging in the middle, and had started to rot, but we designed a new deck with the customer and they are loving their new outdoor space!

Restaurant Bar Remodel
A local restaurant enlisted our help to remodel their bar. The finished bar and floating shelving was designed in collaboration with the customer. First we hand sanded the whole bar to remove the old finish and reveal the beautiful red oak underneath. We then applied 4 coats of marine quality varnish to preserve the natural beauty of the oak bar top. The customer requested floating shelves, for which we used rough sawn red oak that we hand painted, hand sanded and then sealed with clear coat to give them this distressed look. We also added threaded rods to add an “industrial” touch as requested by the customer, which also added functionality. We're ready to saddle up here for a drink!

Shem Creek Deck Remodel
We rebuilt a large (1200 square ft) and very uniquely designed deck on Shem Creek in Mt. Pleasant, SC that had experienced rotting. We replaced everything that was rotting with Yellawood ground contact lumber. We also built out the soffit and installed fascia so we could install a seamless gutter and pipe all the rain water from the shed roof off into the yard below the deck.

Custom Live Edge Bar
This bar was custom-built for a client for their new Hilton Head Island, SC home. The bar was built using 2" and 3" thick solid sapele live edge slabs with custom-built corbels as support. The slabs were cut, shaped and sanded in our shop and then the bar was installed, stained and clear-coated on-site.
